Tis the season for stocking hats. This one I am really excited about this hat. The yarn is three different types of bulky yarn. The colors will be light pink, light grey, and grey. Needle size is 13.

27 Nov Update:

I’ve hit the point where the hat is starting to look funny. I have to keep reminding myself that this is how it’s supposed to look. Once it’s on the child’s head the top flops over.

9 Dec Update:

Stocking hat is done and delivered to its new owner. I love how this hat turned out. I was asked if it would have a pompom or tassel. Honestly guys, I hate pompoms and avoid them like the plague. I thought of a tassel, then I was like, why not a bell? So I got a thing of bells and put three on. I am so pleased with that decision. I like the look and the feel of the bulky yarn that I used. Overall I have enjoyed making this hat.
