This shawl is Tunisian crochet. Tunisian crochet is crochet but it has the look of knit or weaving. This shawl is thick and warm. I used Lion Brand Mandala Ombre in the color Cool. It was a pretty quick work up. I would recommend using stitch markers, especially to mark your middle stitch as the shawl works up to the midpoint then works down. I also used the stitch markers at every 25 stitch to make sure that the stitches were even on both sides. Overall I would definitely make more, in different colors of course. Don’t get me wrong I am in love with how this shawl came out, but I also want to see what this shawl would look like in different colors as well.
